Dr. Lanalle Dunn

Originally from Western Canada, Dr. Lanalle completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at The University of Guelph, in Ontario, Canada.  After years of research and travel, she developed a strong interest in, and great respect for herbal and traditional forms of medicine, and went on to study at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She graduated in 2003 as a Naturopathic Doctor, and moved to Hawaii where she began practicing family medicine. Dr. Lanalle later settled in Dubai, where she has been practicing for nearly 12 years.

Over the years Dr. Lanalle has completed continuing education in acupuncture (facial, advanced techniques, scalp), Waldorf/Steiner education, NAET(advanced certifications), Life-Coaching, Dorn therapy, KST alignment (Koren Specific Technique), and for the past 6 years Anthroposophical Physician Training (British Anthroposophical Physician Training/International Physician Medical Training, or IPMT).  She is a member of the Anthroposophical Society in Canada, The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, The Hawaii Society of Naturopathic Physicians, The British Medical Acupuncture Society, the British Herbal Medicine Association, and the American Functional Medicine Association.

Dr. Lanalle treats a wide-range of family medical issues but specializes in hormonal complaints (including fertility), child health & development (including autism), allergies, spinal health, and mental health including depression & anxiety.   “I have a special interest in looking at the integration of how our thinking, feeling, and willing impact our nervous system and thus our overall health.  This is the focus of my practice and a key principal of Anthroposophical medicine.”

Her work with families stems from her affinity for children, “I love children, and feel honoured to work with families, as a care provider.  It is an amazing opportunity to watch them grow and thrive in good health. Children make us young if we play.  We should respect, learn from, and admire them. They are our future.”


Dr. Zain Ladha

Doctor Zain Ladha, ND graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a four year Honors Bachelor degree in Kinesiology.  She went on to pursue her passion in Naturopathic Medicine by completing a four year doctoral program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in May of 2012.  Zain was then selected as one of three clinical residents from her graduating class to complete an additional elective two year clinical residency program at the college where she taught first, second, and third year students as well as supervised fourth year interns at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, and at the Sherbourne HIV Clinic in downtown Toronto.


Zain is passionate about optimizing health through the prevention and management of chronic disease, and enjoys seeing patients with health conditions ranging from preventative health to primary care.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing ball hockey and spending time in nature as well as conducting community seminars and lectures for corporate events.



Dr. Elisabeth Makk

Dr. Elisabeth has over 23 years of extensive clinical experience in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Homeopathy, Homotoxicology.

She has a strong interest in functional medicine, and creating integrative medicine protocols for healthy aging and lifestyle management.












Dr. Vanda Corbett


Dr. Vanda has worked as a passionate chiropractor for over 13 years. Dr. Vanda deeply believes in the body’s innate healing ability. She attended the University of Calgary in Canada for her undergraduate studies, and then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in the U.S., where she graduated with honours in 2004. She has also completed her Masters of Science in Positive Psychology at Life University, one of only three universities in the world which offer this program.  Using the positive psychology aspect in her practice, Dr Vanda incorporates the work to help her patients simultaneously unpack and heal emotionally along side with physical injury and healing.

     Dr. Vanda has been trained in multiple techniques to help care for her patients, including Gonstead, SOT, Cranial Sacral, Diversified, Activator, Cox Flexion/Distraction, Thompson, Extremity Adjusting and she also uses a low force computer to help analyze and adjust called the “Versalign”.

Steven R Josephs

With over 10 years of experience practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Canada and the United Arab Emirates, Steven Josephs is highly passionate about functional and integrative medical approaches that honour the concept of holism, which is central to TCM.

Steven graduated from the Michener Institute of Health Sciences in Toronto, Canada, after completing an intensive four-year Honours Degree in Acupuncture. With this education, he not only received training in therapeutic acupuncture, but also received training in Chinese herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostics, while also learning the foundations of Western pharmacology and pathophysiology.

Steven’s ability to unveil the perceived mystique that often shrouds this ancient system of medicine makes it more accessible and understandable to Western patients. He has worked alongside a wide range of medical practitioners, and often takes on the role of patient advocate in order to assist his patients navigate the medical system on their journey to wellness.

Steven has extensive experience in providing complementary treatment to women undergoing IVF therapy as well as treating various digestive disorders (including irritable bowel syndrome, colitis, and chronic constipation). The range of his practice also extends to the treatment of sports injuries, and the treatment of anxiety, stress and depression. Steven respects the inextricable link between the mind, body and spirit.
